My Relationship Disaster - Horse & Rat

topic posted Fri, March 14, 2008 - 1:17 PM by  luke78
Hi all, i'm new here, though I have been lurking for a week or so.

anyhow, I recently broke off with a female wood rat - December 12, 1984 (born in hour of rat and a sagitarrius).
I am a male earth horse - April 8, 1978 (born in hour of goat and a aries).

Our relationship start with fireworks as we were both immensely attracted to each other, she is absolutely gorgeous (i must admit, unfortunately).
She always seemed very sweet and loving and I actually thought she was very honest and sincere all the time. But little did I know she was the most persuasive and manipulative person I had ever met. I mean this girl was down right diabolical. I dont want to get into detail about what happened and how I came to discover her lying, scheming ways. Basically, she was seeing someone before she even started seeing me (i believe he was born in 1976, not sure what western sign he is). That wasn't it, i mean it was huge web of lies and all kinds of crazy stuff she did. Looking back now, I feel like I was totally controlled by this girl and was helped out by her evil sidekick (a female monkey born in '80). She seriously made me feel like a total loser and i was totally crushed and embarassed. The worst part was, she was able to look at my face and laugh about it and tell me what a loser I was and walk away. No apology and no nothing.
The other guy left her also, I believe but I am not completely sure. I think that the other guy hurt her when he dumped her, so that was a taste of her own medicine.

Are female rats generally this evil and manipulative?

I think there's a lot more to your relationship in fact anything than just astrology. You are very angry at this stage and I can understand that, but perhaps you should take a step back when you have cooled down and able to see the situation objectively.

I am okay with everything that happened.

Obviously, I am hurt by what happened, but I know that this girl was no good in the end anyway.
The hard part is that I feel like I was totally fooled and played with (for 6 MONTHS!!).

I always prided myself in being able to tell a liar from an honest person, but I was totally awed by this girl.
I just dont understand the reasoning behind it.
What was she doing? Playing a game?
Was she testing her capacity to wage psychological warfare on an another human being? Well she passed her test with flying colors.

I want to apologize for asking whether female rats are generally this "evil"? I know this is mostly not true.
Though when I read about the rat, this girl is pretty much right on.
Rats are supposed to have a mean mean tongue, and this girl can verbally shred any opponent to pieces. She is highly intelligent, successful and very ambitious and ruthless.

I always thought that Horses were supposed to be a bit more dominant over Rats, no?
Well this relationship was a total slap in the face saying "Get real, the Rat is the first sign of the zodiac" to me. Sheesh!

Ok deep breath. Now the truth. Mind you this is coming from a Leo serpent guy. Serpents are wizzes at astrology and generally wise. Also not terribly good with horses but it's ok I'll be straight with you. Beside the hassle of the relationship breakup, you need to chill out this year of the earth rat. It's not your best year. The ascendant in the goat/cat is also not great. Both are not on the Rat's cavalcade of stars.
The year of the rat is not good for horse and goat. In straight terms you need to get with people who are right for you. Also take elements into account. Compatible elements in eastern astrology are a big deal as well as the sign/ascendant thing.
YES monkeys are manipulative. Where do you think the term, monkeying around comes from? What about the saying "you dirty rat!" These are all western terms to describe eastern astrological ststes. Oh and my favorite "snake in the grass". (Which is me) ;-)
Seriously you need to look at aries Leo or Sagittarius tigers horses or dogs. Preferably with compatible elements. Everything else can be totally right but if elements are not right its all wrong. There is more but this will get you started on the road to understanding the eastern side which you need to know about. So check out this page!

      Thanks for that.

So basically, stay away from the rat, dragon, and monkey triad this year?
And beware of snakes, ox and rooster? the triad which seems to be most closely allied with the rat, monkey and dragon triad?

I know tigers and dogs are my people, in fact, my I have a female Dog friend (born October 3, 1982) who has been with me through this whole charade providing great support. I also have many Horse and Goat friends.

yes. Look I'm nothing if not diplomatic and also honest. You have to just at some point realize the truth of things, that not everyone gets along with everyone else all the time. I'm just offering you some truth rather than attacking you. It's not your fault. But simply realize you are better off with compatible people rather than others. This way people can have more fun out of life.
Just realize the year of the rat is not the year of the horse. Lie low be more conciliatory in general. Look ahead to better times for dealing with the not so good always leads to the good. Besides you get with allies and you may just start something good for yourself, which after all is what you want yes? Which would be why you partnered with a monkey in the first place right? Just pack with a courageous tiger or morally decent dog ;-) Just don't get too spiritual with dogs as they are moral enough all by themselves. Besides you and your pals could start a crusade against evil rat schemes! Looks like you have a case for it LOL. Seriously though just stay cool hang loose with compatible types. It's not just you having a down year.

Thanks Simone, you really know your stuff!

Let's put it this way, Rat year or not, I am going to stay out of ANY Rats way for good.
I am also going to just generally try to avoid relationships with Monkeys and Dragons - I wanna have no romantic dealings with this triad what so ever...they're just way above my head.
I am going to be cautious around snakes, since after the Rat and Monkey, these guys seem to be the most inclined to play mind games (no offense).
Oxen seem to have a lot in common with Rats (both seem to be ruthless, overly confident, ambitious and emotionally cold, though Oxen seem to be more scrupulous, honest and sincere), so that too seems kind of risky! Roosters I am not sure about. I know roosters have qualities similar to ox, rats, and dragons. I see some monkey qualities there too.

How do Horses and Roosters generally match up? good, bad, mediocre?

Hm lets see horses and roosters.......ok you are going to find roosters very blunt. Which may appeal to you being a frank sagittarian. Myself i LOVE roosters they're sooo pretty like birds LOL. It's a big step up from a Rat going to a rooster. It really depends how conventional you are. This year is a VERY fast paced even hectic year comparatively with people starting new projects and the like after coming off the recent fire pig year. Lots of seed sowing so to speak, fire produces earth and we are into a two year earth cycle of rat and then ox. Rooster is a bit better than Rat for you, will be like the rats into the high speed ad you figure well it's a 6 out of 10 confidence thing, MIGHT be ok depending on your luck. What about dating your friend who is a compatible type? The thing with Sagittarius is it tends to view love as a game. It isn't really and is often the cause of fatalism later in life. To say if you want to avoid being a philosophical cynic later in life date the right people. I don't want this to go where you hang on every word i say. Even if I am right most of the time the thing is that I do not control others. I sense you want some don't mind you called me Simone. She'd like me if she didn't try to control me so much lol. She's also way too young for me. Youngster!

ops the I sense you want to figure out what to do this year which will lead on to success later on. Then try to sow your seed in compatible arenas. AND Simone is another poster here she's way too young for me LOL.
Two thoughts were running together with me. Sometimes I think and type out loud heh.

                thanks again, Chris..

Though I am not a Sagittarius, I'm an Aries Horse.
The girl I was with, was a Sagittarian Rat.

To be honest, I am completely astonished at everything that happened. I mean it was such a slap in the face that its kind of hard to not think about it. I'm 29 years old, the girl is 23 and boy she taught me a huge lesson in life - that lesson is: never take people at face value.

I am going keep my romances with Horses, Dogs, Tigers, Pigs, Rabbits, and Goats (i find these 6 signs to be a lot more fun, honest, playful, compassionate and good spirited).

The other 6 (rat, ox, dragon, snake, monkey, and rooster) are a lot more serious and seem to be highly power driven, stubborn, determined, and egotistical.
