So I'm a monkey and you guessed it! I'm dating a Tiger. We've been together now for 6 months and it's been great. I don't know what to say. I'm a lil floored by the entire experience. I figure it could be working so well because it's still new and I was born the hour of the dog. Or maybe chinese astrology isn't always right. I dunno. but I'm wondering if anyone else out there has had the same experience. If so I'd like to know how it worked out.

Usually I wouldn't even consider a Monkey with a Tiger. Monkey is too neurotic, and Tiger is usually too paranoid. You're not even dealing with the same elements. Monkey is Metal, and Tiger is Wood. Mayhap your Western personality traits are more compatible, or, mebbe it's llleeerrrrvvv!

Sometimes tigers like to be serious and just sit there contemplating and the monkey is always jumping around joking teasing the tiger. The tiger puts up with it for a bit. Then the monkey starts jumping on the tiger's back, pulling its ears. The tiger is not amused. It starts growling. The monkey keeps going. The tiger gets angry, shakes the monkey off, flicks it with its claws and walks off...
Yes, it can be exciting but we didn't see eye to eye with many things..

That's when I usually go find someting else to do. I'm hoping the more I understand the easier it will be to keep us out of conflict. We like each other, but she communication is a challenge sometimes.

Sat, March 8, 2008 - 12:40 PMYou're VERY LUCKY YOU are a dog ascendant THATS why you are compatible with the tiger. I'm a rat ascendant so I could do well with the tiger if I wished to. Thing is I am a yin water serpent so I don't choose to. My suggestion to you is keep your back door open you may want to bail on the tiger at any time, as the real truth is tigers can be very difficult as well as very nice. Especially for a monkey. It's just wrong LOL. Heh!
