C'mon, you know you want to. And the What Sign is Everyone thread is way too long for easy reading anymore. Here's the rules (I'm a Snake, there's always going to be rules): EXACT date, time and nation of birth.

Yes, indeedy, a yang water Tiger.
      All tigers: wood
      1962: water
      hours of the Horse (fire)
Month of the Horse (fire) and
Greece-I'm going to have to do some research on that one. Greece's last civil war ended in 1949, which probably makes it an Ox nation (water)

That makes your elements wood, water, fire, fire, water. No metal, no earth. But no really serious imbalance (although the water and fire, be antithetical could cause some conflict).

Water Tigers are open minded and objective and have a calmer nature than other Tigers. Humane, intuitive and a good judge of the truth, the water Tiger uses its above par mental abilities towards realism. However, the water Tiger also procrastinates, which can cause problems.

The Horse in you (hours of the Horse) will make you want to play a lot, which in combination with the water Tiger tendency towards procrastination may make it difficult to get anything done, but it can also make you more practical.

The Month of the Horse makes you a bit more spontaneous, quick and talkative. You probably like travel a lot, but find yourself too busy to move most of the time.

      Yes, a yin metal Rabbit.

      All rabbits: wood
      You: metal
      hours: Horse (fire)
      Month: Horse (fire)
      USA: Money (metal)

Your elements are wood, metal, fire, fire, metal.

The relationship aspect: for Rabbits, the best matches are Boars and Sheep. The worst is Rooster.

Good question. As I've posted elsewhere on this tribe, balance is not the biggest thing in the world and going out of your way to achieve it in your chart won't necessarily achieve it in your life.

That being said: in a mated couple, people become 'as one' and your mate's elements may balance yours out. But they might cause conflict, too. If, f'rinstance, your chart was mostly fire, then the addition of metal or wood might bring a harmonious balance to the relationship, but someone who is mostly water...

Zane, this is speculation: I wouldn't choose a mate based on her elements any more than I would her hair color. Remember that the concept of balance in the Chinese horoscope is looked at to try to insure that a child has the greatest number of opportunities, the best chance of success, that they can possibly have going into their lives. Today, in the West, we have a different definition of balance and spend a lot of time seeking it-don't mix systems! We're really talking about two different things that have the same name.

And on top of that (I guess I'm feeling chatty today) I don't think I'd pick a mate based on her sign, either. Nature vs nurture, people are individuals, their sign can only give you some clues into basic personality trends, but their lives can alter that so significantly that there is sometimes little resemblance between the attributes of a sign and the person born under it.

      yin fire Snake.

      all Snakes: fire
      you: fire
      hours: Rabbit (wood)
      month: Horse (fire)
      USA: Monkey (metal)

fire, fire, wood, fire, metal. Lotsa fire here. Lean towards wood metal, and fire occcupations. Water and earth occupations will create conflicts.

Fire Snakes are intense, active and energetic and usually have charisma and appeal. The fire here usually intensifies the Snake's already difficult jealousy, so it's not unusual to find this slithery one surrounded (even isolated) within a tightly knit group of friends and/or advisors. This Snake insists on concrete results, but usually because of their tendency toward megalomania. At the heart, the fire Snake want to be rich, famous and powerful. And the fire makes them even more sensual, fervent and jealous than the average Snake.

The bunny in you (hours) makes you appear a bit less intense, but that's just a facade. This quality makes you a good negotiator, at least business wise.

The Horse adds an effervescence and more than a bit of poise. While you're never completely out of control, you like to take things to the very edge, just to admire the view from the top of the cliff.

The time is a very important consideration, in fact it's the second most important one. You birth cert should indeed give the time. But I can tell you that it's either the hours of the dragon or the hours of the snake. See if you can find this and we'll go from there.

      You are a sheep.
A yin fire Sheep, at that!

      All sheep: fire
      You: fire
      Hours: Rooster (metal)
      Month: Dragon (wood)
      USA: Monkey (metal)

Your elements are fire, fire, metal, wood, metal. No earth no water.

Fire sheep: keywords; courageous, intuitive, dramatic, self-indulgent, lavish. Lots of energy. Outspoken when offended. A wishful thinker.

Hours of the Rooster: Lots of ideas, most of them never materialize. You could use a personal secretary to organize you.

Month of the Dragon: Only agressive when threatened. Controlled and patient, you may be terribly set in your ways.

Sorry aboiut the brevity of the sketch, but I'm only on for a few minutes, and may not have access this weekend!

You were born in a yang metal Monkey year.

      All monkeys: metal
      You: metal
      Hours: Horse (fire)
      Month: Dog (metal)
      USA: Monkey (metal)
Your elements are metal, metal, fire, metal, metal.

You will be happiest in wood based industries as metal conquers wood. Metal industries will also be good.

Metal Monkeys are called "Fighting Monkeys". Keywords: strong, independent, ardent, lively. These Monkeys are very drawn towards financial security and are convincing enough to be good salesmen (you, Pitter, with all that metal should avoid sales, it's a water occupation-not a horrible match, but not a good one, either.)

The Horse in you may tend to make you less dependable than the average metal Monkey...fickle, changeable, wishy-washy are all good keywords for this influence.

The Dog influence will make you a bit less independent, you might even consider partnerships in business. This also lends you a bit more charisma, and while you may find a bit more acceptance than the average metal Monkey, be sure that you can deliver on your promises.

I'm sure that your twinship counts plenty to you and your twin, but makes no difference astrologically. You both will have the same reading, however.

You were born in a yin water Snake year.

      All Snakes: fire
      You: water
      Hours: Ox (water)
      Month: Snake (fire)
      Philippines: Rat (water)

Your elements: fire, water, water, fire, water.

With all that water, you'll be happiest in fire and wood occupations. Water based stuff will work well for you, too!

Water Snakes: keywords-insightful, charismatic and inquisitive. You may be artisitc, well-read and practical. The warning here is that water Snakes quite frequently harbor life long grudges, waiting decades to exact their terrible revenge. And believe me (a water Snake myself) that revenge will be terrible.

The Ox influence may give you physical stamina and willpower. It can also offer a deep and inflexible stubbornness which is hidden from the casual observer by that snaky charm.

The Snake month here adds a practicality, tenacity and durability. Self -assured, financially responsible (frugal, not necessarily cheap), and courageous.

You should be truly formidable in business.

You, JW are a yang wood Monkey.

          All Monkeys: metal
          You: Wood
          Hours: Snake (fire)
          Month: Dragon (wood)
          USA: Monkey (metal)

Your elements are metal, wood, fire, wood, metal. Gee, metal and wood..are you a lumberjack? If, so, you're okay.

The wood Monkey is a great communicator, prizing personal communication above all but without the average Monkey's innate nosiness. Honorable, pioneering and restless, this Monkey likes prestige.

The Snake in you will add mental prowess to your innate ability to suceed.

The Dragon merely amplifies the above (and can add an uncompromisingly ruthless streak). I'd expect you're brutally straightfoward, if not honest, but those around you should be warned that what comes out of your mouth may not be exactly what's going on in your mind. One writer describes the Dragon month Monkey: "After he gives you that firm handshake, anything goes."

Of course I do, sis. Your little one is a yin wood Rooster.

                  Roosters: metal
                  This one: wood
                  Hours (Horse): fire
                  Month (Snake): fire
                  USA (Monkey): metal

His elements are metal, wood, fire, fire, metal. No earth or water. Name him Clay, Slip, Mud (Boue in French, Fango in Italian). Of course that's a joke...but at his age, the addition of the water and earth elements into his life will give him the best overall balance and chance at success and the trad Chinese would do that with his name. Maybe with a nickname?

Now, you're a Rabbit, as I remember. Rabbit/Rooster are not compatible. Like, primary incompatibility, so you will have to work hard throughout your life to rise above this and keep reasonable communications going with this little guy...especially as he starts to become a big guy.

Rooster children are self-starters. Smart and motivated, they will pursue anything they're interested in with all their little hearts. The other side of that coin is that they tend to be neat freaks, and appear to be bound to proprieties and routines. This little guy may also be your worst (but most honest) critic, yet at the same time will be completely blind to his own faults.

Wood Roosters are a bit less opinionated than the other chickens, but they're just as stubborn and just as tied to their little routines. The wood here may draw him towards social work or social activism, but with the lack of water in his elements, that may cause him conflict. But wood is progress oriented and with the Rooster attention to detail, he could excel in mathematics, accounting, or research science. He just won't be naturally very good with people.

The Horse in him will (strangely) make him a bit more practical (as if the Rooster isn't practical enough as is) and will add a playful flamboyance to the mix.

The Snake will add extra endurance (physical and mental) but will also give him more control over his tongue.

Most simply, my dear little sister, you're a free spirit: he's a born Republican. Work with him on his rigidity, teach him early to respect the differences of others, but give him the structure that he will sincerely desire and you'll wind up meeting in the middle. And when he shows up at your door one day dressed in a suit and tie carrying a briefcase, smile a mother's smile tell him how handsome he looks.

      You're welcome.

Yes, you are a Horse. A yang wood Horse.

      All Horses: fire
      You: wood
Hours (ascendant) of the Sheep: fire
      Month of the Dragon: wood
      USA (Monkey): metal

Your elements: fire, wood, fire, wood, metal.

The wood Horse is less impatient than other Horses. Keywords: friendly, cooperative, and reasonable. With a taste for the unconventional, you may find yourself strongly drawn to new ideas and technologies. Wood Horses like to play, like any Horse, but also have a strong sense of responsibility.

The Sheep in you will make you a bit less wild than some other Horses.

The Dragon might tend to make you a bit of a workaholic, and while your ideas may be brilliant, the Dragon expresses itself rashly in Horses. You may also find that you have a great start on projects, but have difficulty finishing them.

      Hello!

You are a yin metal Rooster

The Rooster has the fixed element of metal
Your year is a metal year
Hours of the Rat, who's element is water
      Month of the Rooster, metal
And Croatia (which became a Republic on 6 May 1945) is a Rooster nation, so metal again.

Your elements are metal, metal, water, metal, metal. Now here's an imbalance we can talk about. With so much metal you will be happiest in wood based occupations, because metal conquers wood. Lumber, architechture, paper products, furniture making...these sorts of things should be easily successful for you. Water industries will also be good (remember that working with people-sales, psychology, etc-are water based, too! Metal based jobs...mining, etc, will also pose little conflict. But you should avoid fire and earth based jobs. Your chance of success in them is very limited.

Metal Roosters are practical and have great powers of deduction. Keywords: idealistic, optomistic, captivating. You may be opinionated and headstrong, and will almost certainly have a real need for recognition and fame. While metal Roosters are great speakers and honest people, they have difficulties being impartial, and when they feel threatened have a tendency to discount the views of others, attempting to drown them out with their own rhetoric. Despite this outward bravado, metal Roosters are frequently quite shy and emotionally inhibited. The metal Rooster that conquers their own shyness and learns to work with others could be a great social reformer (especially if it pays well). Don't get me wrong: the metal Rooster's concern for humanity is genuine, but so is their attraction to material wealth and fame.

The Rat in you will make you easier to get along with, as it contributes charm and social graces. You're probably still quite argumentative, but in a more pleasant way than other Roosters.

Being born in the month of the Rooster may alleviate some of the insecurity that metal Roosters are famous for. You are likely to be a perfectionist, however, and with all that Rooster in you (year, month and nation), beware of finding too much fault in others. Nobody's right all the time, but the Rooster month may make you think you are.

You are a yang fire Dragon.

            All Dragons: wood
            You: fire
            Hours: Ox-water
            Month: Boar-water
            USA: Monkey-metal

Elements: wood, fire. water, water, metal.

Wood Dragons are creative and magnamanimous. They work better with people than the other types of Dragons, but still usually have an attitude problem. Which they love with all their hearts. Wood Dragons try not to offend anyone, but definately do not like to be disagreed with and will argue forever with anyone who dares to. But this Dragon is also a very generous person and does not have the vindictiveness common to the other Dragons.

The Ox ascendant may give your inquisitive nature a little more patience and you may like to wait until you are sure of what's happening before you make a move.

Roosters best matches are Ox and Snake. Additionally, a Dragon would be a good match for you. Dogs are not auspicious matches for Roosters.

While Croatia became independent in 90-91, it wasn't independent when you were born, so at that time it was the animal quoted.

      Welcome in advance, Angel.

      You, fire.
      Hours of the Rat (water)

Your elements are metal, fire, water, water, metal.

Fire Monkeys are innovative and usually have great leadership potential. Keywords: truthful, expressive, libidinous, driven. Can you say "control issues"? I thought you could. On the negative side, this Monkey harbors deep suspicions about the motivations of others.

The Rat influence (hours) adds a sparking personality and a sense of how to hold onto money.

The Boar influence (month) makes a Monkey who's prone to hedonism and an uncompromising way of thinking. There will also be a corresponding amplification in the aforementioned control issues. This Monkey demands getting its own way or getting even.

Thanks for being patient, the acupuncture in combination with chirpractic and massage therapy is helping the sciatica, and although not cured, it's much better.

Water Rats are usually the most insightful of the Rats. They are thinkers AND do-ers, although many frequently mistake them for thinkers only. While water Rats are more than capable of succeeding in whatever they choose, their tendency to babble on at length about everything to anyone who will listen makes them uniquely unsuited to occupations where secrecy is paramount. Water Rats, with their love of the intellectual, make good teachers, textbook writers, or professional students.

The Snake influence will make you a bit more tight-lipped than the average water Rat and will also give you a charisma that could attract lots of admirers. Because of the natural Rat aptitude for finance, the Snake influence might make you a great fundraiser: your charisma should make it easy for you to get money from others.

The Dragon increases your charm, makes you a bit headstrong, gives you committment to the truth, and makes you more sociable than the average Rat.

Didn't I already do yours? Yes...over on the what sign is everyone thread:

As previous, you were born in a yang wood Monkey year, the fixed element of the Monkey is metal. Hours of the Snake (fire), month of the Dragon (wood) and the USA is a Monkey (metal nation).

You elements are: wood, metal, fire, wood, metal. Missing earth and water...perhaps we should name you Mud?

Wood Monkeys are known to be good communicators, but generally aren't as nosy as other Monkeys, preferring to mind their own business. Honorable yet restless, the Wood Monkey has a strong pioneering spirit and an acute awareness of his surroundings (and the opportunities they provide). This resourceful Monkey has admirable standards and likes orderliness in his life.

Another water Rat! You're making this easy, thank you.

The Rabbit contributes an outwardly docile nature, but in combination with the Rat can make you a schemer. All Rats are charming, and the insight contributed by the water and the astuteness of the Rabbit might make you a very successful schemer.

The Horse adds even more stamina to the Rat, a very energetic combo. With a flair for words contributed by both, you should be a very convincing speaker or writer. Be careful though, as the Rat's tendency to babble and the Horse's indefatigable energy maight just make those close to you wish you'd just shut up. The Horse may also lead you to have too many irons in the fire...learn to focus on one project at a time.

Rooster male/Monkey female? If both of you are exceptionally insightful and are really willing to make the union work, there's a chance (but you could say that for any pairing). Without doing a full chart on both of you, I'd say that the Monkey tendency to take what you want without really considering the feelings of others will offend the righteousness of the Rooster. The parsimonious nature of the Rooster will offend the playful Monkey. The Rooster likes to debate things cooly, the Monkey likes fiery argument. Will Mr. Rooster be willing to cut Ms. Monkey a great deal of slack? Even more than he has ever given anyone in his life? Will Ms. Monkey ever get serious and start living 'the right way' (according to Mr. Rooster's sensibilities)? It is said that a Rooster male and a Monkey female will only really cooperate when they have no other choice. You might be the couple to prove them wrong, if you're willing to accomdate each other.

        Now it's Spreken's turn.

        Tue, August 2, 2005 - 7:18 AM
Sprek, the Sheep is the most 'feminine' sign of the Chinese zodiac, and that's where your nurturing side comes from. The fire Sheep is more adventurous than other Sheep, following intuition more easily (most Sheep distrust their intuitive side). And while dramatic in a way, the work produced by the fire Sheep is still restful and pleasant, a truly Sheepish quality. You may find yourself a bit over indulgent of yourself, especially where personal comforts are concerned, and fire Sheep are warned to carefully live within their means. All Sheep tend to 'eat paper' (which is the Chinese way of saying 'spend too much money') but the fire Sheep burns paper, if you get my drift. If a fire Sheep drifts into negativity, they can be terribly disappointed with life as they'll soon be drawn into a wishful dream and be unable to see the positive things around them, always reaching for a brass ring that they will be completely unable to obtain.

Now the Monkey (which represents the metal in your chart) will give you more of a tendency to act and may give you a self-assurance lacking in many Sheep. This should also bring you a sunny disposition, which may help you avoid the dangers of Sheep negativity.

The Rat contributes a philosophical bent to you, and may make it easier for you to accept contructive criticism than the average thin skinned Sheep. Keywords: confident, fashionable, honest (sometimes bluntly). Sheep born in the month of the Rat sometimes appear to be lazy, but it's really that they don't like dirty work or unneccesary detail and just refuse to do it.

Sprek, don't confuse the Eastern and Western systems: the elements in your chart are looked at primarily for balance. If you're a nurturer, we don't go looking for wood, we go looking for the Sheep (other wood signs are not so nurturing). We don't concern ourselves with metal, but with the Monkey or other metallic signs, EXCEPT as those elements effect your year sign. And if your chart had an over-sufficiency of one element (yours doesn't), you might be warned away from certain professions.

Hey, there, you. No compatability request? You slowing down, girl? Hmmm, I'll bet not.

You are indeed a yang earth Horse, born in the hours of the Monkey and the month of the Ox.

                All Horses: fire
                You: earth
                Monkey: metal
                Ox: water
                USA (Monkey): metal

As I've told you before, earth Horses are logical, but have trouble making up their minds. Unlike other Horses, earth Horses may be content to settle down when they find the 'right one'. And you probably don't have nearly the amount of trouble with authority than the average Horse.

The Monkey hours will make you glib, you should be able to talk yourself into trouble and then talk yourself out of it. Those around you may have trouble figuring you out because of this trait.

The Ox month should make you a reliable friend or employee and your Oxen resolve combined with that Horsey speed should give you the ability to set priorities and then achieve those goals (not very Horse-like). The Ox may also help you mind your own business more than other Horses, which should do well in keeping you out of trouble.

Fire Dragon. Keywords: righteous, outgoing, competitive, demanding, aggressive. Fire Dragons frequently cop an attitude and others think that fire Dragons think they're superior to everyone else. Sometimes they do think this, and a buzzphrase rightly associated with many fire Dragons is 'Messiah complex'. However, fire Dragons are almost universally humane and compassionate. Their impartiality and dedication to the truth can make them quite objective and, therefore, the most constructive of critics. Beware the tendency to be a short-tempered and inconsiderate perfectionist.

The Pig ascendant (hours) will warm your Dragon heart and will make you a loyal and supportive friend. This influence can also lend a bit of humility to a Dragon.

The month of the Pig may contribute lust and intensity that could draw you into gross excess. Remember the nursery rhyme, "There once was a little girl with a little curl right in the middle of her forehead..."? That's frequently associated with the female Dragon born in the month of the Boar.

              USA is monkey: metal

Your elements are wood, wood, metal, fire, metal.

Wood Tigers keywords: tolerant, practical, impartial. The wood Tiger is cooperative and works well with others when it's going to advance his cause. More even tempered than the other Tigers, the woody is more well-suited to polite society than the average Tiger and while able to bring groups of people together on most issues, remains loyal primarily to himself.

Wood Tigers tend to be less penetrating than other Tigers, tending towards the semblance of control and order as opposed to acutally having it. Self-discipline is also a problem for wood Tigers, but they also do not take criticism well, so it's hard to tell them about their shortcomings.

The hours of the Rooster merely exacerbate the Tiger outspokenness.

The Horse adds an element of fun and spontaneity to the Tiger. Beware of the Horse tendency to move too quickly, or you may never get anything done.

The element of your year is, too.
      The Horse is fire
      The Snake is fire
      The USA (monkey) is metal.

Your elements are fire, fire, fire, fire, metal. Go fore wood and metal industries, avoid water and earth based occupations assiduously.

Fire Snakes are energetic, capable and charismatic. Their confidence and leadership abilities make them successful politicians (but as that is a water based occupation, you'd do best to avoid it). Fire Snakes are the most suspicious Snakes out there, and they also tend towards insane jealousy. But they are also the most sensual and fervent Snakes.

The Horse in you reinforces your sensuality and diminishes your suspicion. Snakes born in the hours of the Horse are frequently seen as 'playboys' or 'playgirls' (and many times they are).

The Snake month gives you extra tenacity. You should be well grounded, careful with finances, and have lots of self-confidence. More sensuality. With this hosroscopic makeup, I'd be willing to bet that the right tune melts you into a puddle.

You are a yang metal Dog, born in the hours of the Sheep and the month of the Ox.

      Your elements:

      All Dogs: metal
      1971: metal
      Sheep: fire
      Ox: water
      So. Korea (Rat): water

metal, metal, fire, water, water. With that metal/water thing going on, you'd probably be happiest in wood based occupations.

Adjectives for metal Dogs: unwavering, critical, high-minded, charitable, devoted, and ruthless. You're born under the moon that Tibetans call the Iron Dog. The Iron Dog (as a person) can be very good, or very bad, primarily because he takes himself much too seriously and therefore dedicates himself either to goodness or badness with a blind zeal. Very loyal, but particularly vicious when betrayed.

The Sheep in you softens your Doggy heart and can make you more of a cuddly lap dog (which is not saying much...you are an Iron Dog, after all: it will never get too cuddly). While you may choose to overlook the faults of your friends (not a very doggy thing to do!) the Sheep may also tend to make you a pessimist.

The Ox month gives a generous and benevolent streak to the Dog, and offers a self-loyalty often missing from the Dog profile. Beware of a tendency to become caught up in your own rituals/systems, etc.

Rat and Rabbit? This is neither an auspicious nor an inauspicious match. It's neutral. Which means that there is no horoscopic affinity or incompatibility. Your relationship is entirely what you wish to make of it, without the help or hindrance of the stars.

Neither the Rat or the Rabbit are selfless, but the Rat tends towards posessiveness while the Rabbit runs cold and passive. This can tend to cause friction: the Rat demands those around him to be steadfast and loyal, the Rabbit (even your Earth Rabbit who is *more* concerned with others) is primarly loyal to herself alone.

If you, as the adult in the relationship, can alter your expectations and can remember that the Rabbit self-loyalty and introspection is not betrayal (in other words, don't take it personally), you probably have an awful lot to learn from one another. And always remember: your little bunny must come to balance internally before she'll ever attempt to come to balance externally. Rabbits are not known for their openness, and perhaps this is a Karmic lesson for both of you. Learn to respect the divergent needs of others (not particularly Rat-like) while fostering an environment where openness and sharing are the basic problem-solving techniques (not particularly Rabbit-like).

                    Bless you, too.

You are a yin wood Ox.

The fixed sign of the Ox is water.
1985 was a wood Ox year
Born in the hours of the Rabbit (wood)
The month of the Monkey (metal)
and, at the time Estonia was a Dragon nation (wood)

Your elements are water, wood, wood, metal and wood. Avoid fire occupations.

The wood Ox is less rigid than other Oxen and can even be sensitive to the emotions of others. Socially graceful (at least for an Ox), fair and impartial are good keywords. You probably have a very well developed sense of fairness and ethics.

The Rabbit gives you diplomacy and discretion (2 qualities not found in the average Ox).

The Monkey will warm your personality, but only a bit. This influence can also lead to pomposity and dramatics, and you may have a very powerful will.

You are a yang wood Rat, born in the hours of the Ox and month of the Rabbit. The USA is a Monkey nation.

Your elements are water wood, water, wood, metal.

Wood Rats are progressive, success-oriented people. They have a built-in fear of the future which drives them to figure out how everything works so they can control it. They are, therefore, supremely good at manipulating the system to get what they want.

The Rabbit in you probably puts you in a caretaker position with others, can manifest a pretty nice psychic ability and will make you creative and well-behaved in public.

The Ox, however, makes you inflexible, controlled and controlling, and dedicated. You're often disappointed by the imperfection of those around you. You'd make a great drill Sergeant, but that's a joke and the Ox really hampers the Rat's sense of humor.

The Sheep is the most feminine sign in the Chinese zodiac. Earth Sheep are optomistic, self-reliant, domestic yet independent, careful, hardworking and loyal. You'd make a great homemaker and career person simultaneously.

The Rooster adds thrift and resolution. And a tendency to deny yourself.

The Boar makes you a sympathetic listener, but people seem surprised when you demand the same of them.

You are a yang fire Dragon, born in the hours of the Snake, the month of the Sheep, and the Monkey nation USA.

Your elements are wood, fire, fire, fire, metal.

Stay far away from water based occupations.

The fire Dragon is righteous, outgoing, competitve, demanding, agressive, overzealous, and dictatorial. On the other hand, they're open, humane, impartial and can give great constructive criticism.

The Sheep in you will make you less short-tempered than the average Dragon and will add responsiveness and tlerance to your short list.

The Snake makes you precise and charming, but also overambitious. Fire Dragons frequently have a Messiah complex, but the Snake can add a sinister note to that. Be the Dalai Lama, not Charles Manson, okay?

yang fire Horse. Run! Run as fast as your legs can carry you! It's a yang fire Horse! AAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

hours of the Monkey, month of the Sheep, USA-Monkey.

Elements: fire, fire, metal, fire, metal.

Stay far, far away from water occupations. People are a water occupation.

The yang fire Horse is flamboyant, smart, charismatic and willful. You are also easily distracted and inconsistent. You like variety in your people and travel. You're also probably a bit confrontational at times.

The Sheep in you makes you less volatile than the average fire Horse, but will make you even moddier and more capricious.

The Monkey will give you glibness: you should be able to talk yourself out of the trouble you get yourself into.

Historical note: in Ancient China, female infants born under the sign of the Horse (and particularly fire Horse) were drowned. Their independent spirit made it impossible to find them a suitable mate, so they were seen as a lifelong liability to their parents. I hope you don't have any desire to become a good housewife: with your chart, it's unlikely to happen.

Water Snakes are insightful, charismatic, inquisitive, materialistic, goal-oriented, artistic, and intellectual. TGhey also can harbor life-long grudges.

The Rabbit in you merely amplifies these traits.

The Dog makes you simpatico: steadfast, loyal, patient, subtle, witty and charismatic. Beware, however, the doggy tendency towards hedonism.

Easy on YOU? You're another yang fire Horse. See Silly Girl's reading above. Please don't hurt us.

Born in the hours of the Dragon, month of the Boar and The Phillipines which is a Rat nation.

Your elements are fire, fire, wood, water, water.

Unlike silly girl, you are probably prone to excitability and volatility. I'll bet you actually have quite a temper.

The Dragon in you makes you more powerful but also adds to your touchiness.

The Boar makes you very affectionate, but you'll want your needs met first. You're sensuous, power-conscious and very smart. The Boar makes you realize the power of compromise and you always figure out a way to come out on top. I'll have to look at your pics as Horses born in the Boar month are usually quite attractive physically. Beware the tnedency towards vengefullness, however.

Shellan, on another thread you're asking about a fella who 'may be the one'. I hope he is, but keep in mind that Horses (particularly fire Horses) find 'the one' about every six months or so.

          Re: Shallane

          Sun, October 9, 2005 - 8:03 AM
Fire and water (your elements)...Silly Girl was warned away from people occupations because she had so many fire elements. Fire and water don't mix and people occupations are a water thing. Your elements are not all that unbalanced. Anybody can make anything work for them if they can get past the parts of their nature that make it difficult. If Silly Girl wanted to be a psychologist or a homemaker, she certainly could, but it would might take quite a bit of work and personal growth on her part to be successful.

Horses are born to be free spirits. They can, and do, settle down in mundane lives, plying homey occupations and workaday jobs, but that's not their basic nature. Do you want to be a housewife? Do you want to be corraled by just one lover? Look closely and see if these desires come from within your horsey heart or are just society's expectations that you wear like a horse wears a saddle.

All this being said: don't take anybody's astrology too seriously. To throw away a good relationship because the stars say it is not auspicious is foolishness. To avoid or adopt an occupation merely on the basis of your elements is equally insane. We are each much more than a collection of times and dates and our lives affect us more than our stars. Astrology can give us some insights into basic personality issues, but we can foster the ones we like and rise above the others. Nature versus nurture.

To directly answer your question: with your elements, you'd probably be successful in whatever you chose. There's no serious imbalance. As water controls wood and fire conquers wood, you might be best suited for woody jobs. Lumberjack springs to mind, as does furniture maker.

Well, I feel a little dicey about getting this specific. If your fella will gives us his time and place of birth and this is done with his full knowledge and consent then I'll do it. And you'll have to promise to share it with him. Otherwise, he's a Snake and you're a Horse. Astrologically not a particularly satisfying union.

You are a yin fire Sheep born in the hours of the Sheep, the month of the Horse and a Monkey nation.

Your elements are fire, fire, fire, fire, metal. Stay far away from water occupations (working with or on people are water occupations).

Fire Sheep-adjectives: courageous, intuitive, energetic and agressive. Indulgent in regards to personal comforts, the fire Sheep is likely to spend way too much money.

Avoid a tendency to live in the future and be sullen and disappointed with what you ahve now.

The hours of the Sheep may make you an ardent lover, but may also make you a bit clingy. Beware a tendency to worry and be indecisive.

I know I did a reading for you, but I don't see it here. Must have punched the wrong button. Let's try again, shall we?

You're a yang wood Dragon, born in either the hours of the Rooster or Dog, the month of the Horse and a Monkey nation.

Wood Dragons are creative and magnanimous. You work well with others, but probably come off as a little condescending at times. Woodies are logical and curious, which makes them great explorers. Avoid exploring whatever it is into the ground, if you know what I mean. Woodies like to debate, but are generous souls who also don't mind taking the middle ground. While not as self-centered or vindictive as other Dragons, you still are a Dragon. Don't let your ego take control of you. (I copied this one directly from Bette's reading because without a firm fix on your ascendant, it's hard to be more than general about the qualities found in your natal animal).

Now, here's where the reading becomes difficult: if you were born in the hours of the Rooster, you'll be fearless and imaginative, very active and probably have quite a bit of pride. If Dog, you'll be good humored and practical. While stable, you may have a nasty bite when angered.

Without knowing your ascendant, it's impossible to extrapolate the effect of the Horse month. Were you born before or after 7pm? Without that info, I can go no further.

You are a yin earth Horse, born in the hours of the Monkey the month of the Sheep and a Monkey nation.

Your elements are fire, earth, metal, fire, metal. Not a bad mix.

Earth Horses are the most congenial of the Horses and have a firmer logic than most, yet they still remain indecisive. While capricious (especially about the small stuff), earth Horses are the only ones who most likely to settle down into a long term relationship if they find 'the one'.

The Monkey will add wit to your Horsey agility, you should be quite independent and glib.

The Sheep adds a calmness to your personality, and while you may be moody at times, you're very in touch with your environment (not a particularly Horsey trait).

        Hi Patrick!

I find your insights AMAZING - thanks so much for doing this. I'd like to chime in if it's OK - I was born November 20, 1964 at 1:13pm in Sacramento, CA.

Also, I've fallen for a Wood Horse with Sheep rising...are all people who fall in love with horses in for a lot of indecision?

        Thanks so much!

You are a yang wood Dragon, hours of the Sheep, month of the Boar and a Monkey nation.

Your elements are wood, wood, fire, water, metal.

Unfortunately, Bettie, this means you're screwed. No, I'm just in an odd mood, pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

The Sheep in you could lend an air of modesty and aplomb.

Horse male, Dragon female? Unfortunately, Bettie, this means you're screwed. Sorry, I just couldn't resist. Neither Horses nor Dragons are particularly domestic, so as long as you're enjoying the expedition, things could be quite good.

Wood Horses are not so impatient, but will not be dominated. And the Sheep will give him compassion. Once again, don't let your ego get control of you-the wood Horse male will want to be in the driver's seat (or at least think he is).

            Hi Patrick,

Thanks so much for the reading! But I'm confused - am I "screwed" because my elements are wood, wood, fire, water, metal or because of the Horse?! Or both?

You're right about the Horse by the way, he definately likes to be in charge, but his sheep tendencies are strong (thank goodness). I usually let him run around as much as he wants (while I work on my big dragon dreams), and he usually gets lonely and comes galloping back:)

            Thanks,

yang fire Horse. Born in the hours of the Snake, month of the Rat and a Monkey nation.

Your elements are fire, fire, fire, water, metal. Please don't become a counselor or psychologist.

Yang fire Horses do not have a particularly stable reputation, and for the most part, they've earned it. While terrifically intelligent and charismatic, they also tend to be inconsistent and volatile.

The Snake will calm some of the Horse hotheadedness, but can also make you quite a schemer (and a very successful one, at that).

The Rat may explain why you really like living in pressure cooker, and will give you even more endurance than your Horsey little self would have had anyhow. While you can rely on your intuition, beware of overdoing things: the Rat does not lend perseverance to the mix.

Wood Tigers are tolerant, practical and impartial. Let's use adjectives: affable, charming, innovative. A good social mixer, but loyal only to yourself. Wood Tigers also tend to be, well, superficial and can lack depth or self-discipline.

The Boar will add to your impulsiveness and can lend a bit of naivetee.

The Snake will make you a bit more stable, reserved (and maybe a touch conservative), but will add a charisma and amplify your Tiger charm.

You're a yang metal Dog, born in the hours of the Dragon, the month of the Sheep and a Monkey Nation.

Elements: metal, metal, wood, fire, metal. Stay away from fire occupations.

Dog women are usually quite lovely and make friendships slowly.

Metal Dogs (the Iron Dog), tend to be highly critical and unwavering in their convictions, patriotic, and concerned with fairness. Beware a tendency to convert others to your views, as a proselytizing metal Dog can resort to some rather extreme measures.

The Dragon in you will increase the probability that you'll be a missionary of some sort or the other. Try to remember that views that conflict with yours are valid too.

The month of the Sheep will balance you a little bit and you shouldn't be too rash or emotional. This may also take the edge off of the missionary zeal donated by the Dog and Dragon and you should have much more affection for others than the average Dog.

You are a yin earth Sheep born in the hours of the Snake, the Month of the Sheep and a Rabbit nation.

Your elements are fire, earth, fire, fire, wood. Avoid water based occupations.

The earth Sheep is an optomistic sort and much more self-reliant than other Sheep. While domestic and loyal, you will also keep an independent part of yourself. Conservative and careful, but not stingy, the earth Sheep still needs to watch out for over-indulgence (Sheep are said by the Chinese to 'eat paper', which is a nice way to say they spend way too much money). Earth Sheep play hard and work hard, take their responsibilities seriously, and are truly dependable friends. Beware a tendency to be oversensitive when criticized.

The Snake gives you confidence and self-assurance. Many Sheep need an source of outside validation, you probably don't.

The Sheep is the most feminine sign in the Chinese zodiac, and in combination with the month of the Sheep, you should be a great nurturer and resourceful enough to be a wonderful mother, should you choose that path. You'll probably also like to have lots of friends around you, but the Snake will probably keep you from opening up to them completely.

      Re: Ask Patrick

      Wed, October 19, 2005 - 5:05 AM
      Short answer: yes.

Long answer: Well, it depends. Roosters and Tigers make good friends, but I'll assume that you're talking about something a little closer. Firstly, it depends on the genders of the people involved. Then on the ascendants. Finally on the people themselves.

Let's talk in a bit more detail:

male/female relationships: if he is a Tiger and she is a Rooster then on the face of it there is not much hope as they will annoy each other so profoundly that they'll barely talk, much less relate. Tiger female/Rooster male can work okay, however, but there really needs to be a compelling reason for them to cooperate.

male/male: Can you say 'critical mass'? I thought you could. This will be a volatile and argumentative relationship as the Rooster and Tiger males have enormous egos, the Rooster tends to be hidebound and rigid and the Tiger is impulsive and intense. And both of them are more than a little self-absorbed.

female/female: the female Rooster is more adaptable than the male, but a double-metal Rooster (the fixed element of the Rooster is metal, too) will tend to be emotionally inhibited and terribly headstrong. The water Tiger can be better focused on the needs of others than the average Tiger and the female Tiger is a wonderful, playful and indulgent nurturer with a repect for the rules that will make a Rooster happy. This could be a very good relationship, depending on who takes the dominant role (and with these two signs, it's likely that someone will).

Ascendants: I frequently run across people who ask if they're on a 'cusp' because they act much more like another sign than their own. There is no cusp bleedover in Chinese astrology. However, the ascendant (hours of birth) is a powerful shaper of personality which can turn around even a primary inauspicious relationship. If our Tiger has a Rooster ascendant, if our Rooster has a Tiger ascendant, or both, then these people will have a strong affinity for the other and may behave in a more Roosterlike or Tigerish manner and will be strongly attracted to each other. This can make a wonderful relationship despite the year sign.

The people themselves: as I've said many times in this tribe-nature vs nurture. Life experience can make a Tiger into a Monkey (primary inauspicious relationship), etc. This is the problem with astrology of whatever flavor-there's no way to predict what's going to happen in someone's life that will shape their personalities and the shaping that occurs from life can be much more profound than the shaping of the stars.

So, can this Tiger/Rooster pairing work? Sure it can. Is it likely? That depends on a lot of variables.

Of course they can work out. There are so many different factors that one has to consider. Read the long answer I gave above about the Tiger/Ox relationship. Don't ever think you are limited by your sign; creaate your own reality.

Yes, you are a yang fire Dragon, born in the hours of the Monkey and the month of the Tiger (USA is a Monkey nation!).

Elements: wood, fire, metal, wood, metal.

Fire Dragons are the most righteous and competitive of all the Dragons. Independence is important to Dragons in general, and more so when their element is Fire.

The Monkey will give you a Clown's face: the world will see you more as a joker, but underneath it you can be very hard.

The Tiger will lend the Dragon some unorthodoxy, and while you may still have quite a temper, you will probably never be cruel.

You are a yin earth Rooster, bornin the hours of the Ox the month of the Rat and a Monkey nation.

Your elements are metal, earth, water, water, metal.

In Chinese, this sign is actually 'The Chicken', but that has a negative connation here in the West, so we substitute 'Rooster'. Today, I'll substitute 'Hen'. All chickens are perfectionists, but the hens are much more adaptable than the roosters (on average). Hens are frequently characterized as naggers, but that's really not true: they're just fond of the structure that routine gives them and are occasionally overzealous about making sure that the agenda is followed in its proper order.

Earth Hens like detail and they can be studious and very analytical when fact-finding. They're unafraid of responsibility and will meticulously carry out their duties. Give an earth Hen the job when you want it done perfectly and on time. And if they like the job, they'll be dedicated employees who will be willing to sacrifice much of their personal lives for the needs of the job. The female earth Hen is a strict but fair teacher, mother, boss. If an employee, beware be taken advantage of by bosses who will want you to work overtime every day.

The Ox may lend you a bit more stability, but can also make you a little harsh at times. Both Hens and Oxen like authority and if given power beware the tendency to overdo it. One author writes that the Hen/Ox combo is the type (when in control) likely to "use a sledgehammer to kill a fly."

The Rat increases your Hen-like decisiveness and ambition. But it can also make you interminably chatty and brutally honest.

I'm a fire dragon and the year 2005 is supposed to be a good one for me. But so far, this year has been topsy turvy for me, with more downs than ups...Am I missing something here?

Yep, you are a yang fire Dragon born in the hours of the Dog and the month of the Tiger. I'd have to do too much research to find India's animal and it's very early & I haven't had any coffee yet. Your question wasn't about a reading anyhow. Hope you don't mind.

This is a yin wood Rooster year. Which, for the Dragon, is to be 'moderately happy', full of challenges to overcome and good networking possibilities (contacts for future endeavors). You should notice that you come out on top when you have disputes and if there are any accidents, you'll probably be unscathed. Sounds like a pretty good year to me: nobody promised you that a good year would be an easy one. That's what you're missing.

Once again, I wouldn't start or stop a business, get into or out of a relationship, etc. based on astrology. There are just too many factors outside of astrology that would make that foolish. That being said: the year of the Rooster would be an okay time for a Dragon to start a business, however, it's late in the year, and the Dog year that follows may be quite turbulent, with lots of unexpected problems and plans that go South.

You are a yang water Tiger born in the hours of the Dragon, month of the Snake and a Monkey nation.

Elements: wood, water, wood, fire, metal

water Tigers are open-minded, objective and calm. You probably have a highly developed intuition that you use to gain insight into and commuincate with others.

The Dragon in you may lend a little suspicion, but can also make you a dynamic leader.

The Snake lends you stability and an intellectual nature and a metodolocial approach to the world.

You are a yang wood Tiger, born in the hours of the Ox, the month of the Ox and an Ox nation.

Elements: wood, wood, water, water, water. Please avoid fire based occupations.

The wood Tiger is a more tolerant and practical sort of large cat. Even-tempered and affable and good in polite company, but still primarily self-loyal. Wood Tigers tend towards superficiality and sometimes lack real depth.

The Ox in you will probably add self-discipline, which the Tiger lacks.

You are a yin wood Rabbit, born in the hours of the Rat, the Month of the Rabbit, and (I think) a Monkey nation.

Your elements: wood wood water wood metal. Beware metal occupations. Fire may be a bit tricky, too.

Wood Rabbits are generous and understanding, quite frequently more generous and understanding than they should be. As a result, they can (and frewuently are) taken advantage of by the unscrupulous. Especially authority figures who can intimidate wood Rabbits easily. So, my best advice is: Don't lend people money. Just don't do it. But you're also a crackerjack employee-honest, dedicated, etc. Beware a tendency to like bureaucracy just a bit too much.

The Rat in you may make you affectionate.

The month of the Rabbit gives you more confidence, but could lead to narcissism.

Alice is a yang water Dragon born in the hours of the Rooster, the month of the Dog and a Monkey nation.

Elements: water, wood, metal, metal, metal. Stay away from fire!

Hmm..less selfish and opinionated than most Dragons, and not nearly as conspicous, the water Dragon likes to wait and see. Water Dragons also tend to mind their own business and are not known to be particularly vengeful, be awarem however that you amy be overly optomistic.

The hours of the Rooster may make you think more of yourself. Pride, my friend goeth before a fall. Beware of excessive pride.

The Dog will make you less dependable, but more sincere.

                            Sat, December 24, 2005 - 6:07 AM
Oh, now I get the 'antion' reference. That was a misspelling of nation. I guess I should proofread these things more carefully. Let's get away from the word 'match' as it's a trigger phrase for lots of folks. Horse, Tiger and Dog form an affinity triangle, and therefore the belief is that they will have the 'best' chance of forming successful relationships with one another. That does not mean that they will, but that the chances of the Horse Tiger relationship are better than say, the Horse Rat relationship.

Now's the time to write this again: astrology, of whatever flavor, merely gives us a look into some basic personality structures. Nobody's life is ruled by the stars, the moon, the sun, the comets, the seasons, etc. The challenge implied is that each of us takes a look at our own structures, fosters the ones we like and changes the ones we don't, thereby becoming the person we'd like to be.

So, if you're a Rat in a relationship with a Horse (which might be described as a 'run as fast as you can' relationship), the ultimate success or failure of that relationship is going to depend entirely on the people involved: their level of committment, their understanding of themselves and one another, and their desire to make the relationship work. At the end of the day, astrology is merely a tool. You cannot blame or congratulate a hammer upon the building of a house, only the skill and dedication of the carpenter.

        LaDonna's Reading

        Thu, December 22, 2005 - 5:50 AM
You are yin metal Boar, born in the hours of the Rabbit, the Month of the Boar and a Monkey nation.

Elements: water, metal, wood, water, metal.

Metal Boars are proud, passionate and sentimental. Their intensity frequently manifests as a dominating personality. Beware a tendency towards hedonism and excess. You're probably more social and less introverted than the average Boar and may also be more trusting of others. Ambitious, forceful, strong and committed are good words for you. But you also may tend to have a violent anger.

The hours of the Rabbit will lend you and air of affability, but it's really a surface thing. Boars are known to be possessive and greedy sometimes. If this is your manifestation, it will still be there, just covered over with a Rabbity blanket.

The Boar month will give you drives for self gratification. You're probably interested in sensuality and power and while you have an outward generosity, there are normailly strings attached somewhere.

You are yang fire Dragon, born in the hours of the Horse, Month of the Sheep and a Monkey nation.

Elements: wood, fire, fire, fire, metal. Avoid water based occupations.

Fire Dragons are righteous, extroverted and very competitive by nature. They tend to expect quite a lot from the people around them and while agressive, also return a lot to those they care about. Fire Dragons sometimes develop a Messiah Complex, and when that happens, tend towards overzealousness and dictatorialism.

While short-tempered and inconsiderate, the fire Dragon has a great dedication to the truth.

The Horse in you will make you an affable party guest, but may also give you a self-centeredness that will negate the Dragon sense of duty to others.

The Sheep in you may tame the Dragon's militant nature and may lend you some tolerance.

First off, Anna: nobody's doomed. Your life is what you make of it. Open your heart to the universe and you'll get loads of abundance in every aspect of your life.

You are a yin metal boar, born in the hours of the boar, month of the boar and a monkey nation.

Element: water, metal, water, water, metal. Avoid fire based occupations.

Metal Piggies are proud, passionate and sentimental. You may find that you have excessive appetities and you might not be very tactful. But you are socially extroverted, demonstrative with affection, and very forgiving. But not trusting.

The Boar hour indicates that you may not have develoed many fine qualities in yourself. Is it time to understand that you are worthy?

The Boar month makes you sensuous and power conscious and able to compromise. But you'll still get your needs met. First. Beware of a tendency to get vengeful when crossed.

Despite the unfortunate name, you are a yang fire Dragon. Perhaps I shouldn't tease you, that would be safer. You were born int he hours of snake, the month of the ox and a monkey nation.

Elements: wood, fire, metal, water, metal.

Righteous, outgoing and competitive! Demanding, agressive, but with a lot to give, too. Fire Dragons frequently develop Messiah complexes and tend towards the dictatorial and overzealous. You should be impartial, nonethless and dedicated to the truth. As you see it. You can be short-tempered and inconsiderate when it suits you and you may tend to overgeneralize.

The Snake will make you calculating, so with that Dragon drive, you'll probably be wildly successful at whatever. Try, however, to not make it 'at any cost'.

The Ox will make you an incredibly hard worker, but please realize that not everybody has your drive or endurance.

And voila... the best occupations for me (wood-oriented) turned out to be very sober and unexpected for an artistic person like I am. But the unbelievable part was, when I got into some real thinking into what I want to really do with my life, it turns out that I do need the structure that these jobs have, as well as the sense of fulfillment that they can give. I was born Oct 6, 1979, 3:23 AM, Philippines. Thanks!

      For Miharu

      Fri, December 30, 2005 - 5:31 AM
      Hi, Miharu!

Well, unless you've given me your date incorrectly, you are actually a yin earth Sheep born in the hours of the tiger, the month of the Monkey and a Rat nation.

Your elements are earth, fire, wood, metal and water. This is perfect balance, the auspices at your birth set you up to be successful in anything you'd like to do! So let those sober and boring occupations just sit there neglected. Express your creativity and be wildly successful at it.

Earth Sheep are more optimistic and self-reliant than the average Sheep. You'll have a great combination of independent spirit and familial loyalty. It's said that Sheep 'eat paper', which is the nice way to say that they spend too much money. The earth element, however, may make you more frugal, and while you'll never be stingy, you'll probably also never be wildly extravagant. You should be a hard worker and it is the Sheep in you that benefits from structure. You are responsible and take that seriously, to your employers, your friends, or to anyone in trouble.

The Tiger makes you very outgoing and creative. But it also amplifies your temper. Tigers are not very dependable, and that adds to your need for structure, or rather, I'd think others tell you you need structure. Look out for the Sheepish ultradefensiveness and the Tiger volatility. You may tend to overreact when criticized.

The Monkey makes you high-spirited, bold and energetic. The Sheep/Monkey combo makes you want to live up to the expectations of others while the Tiger and earth element draw you towards independence and self-expression.

From reading your message and looking at your chart, I could see that you might have some pretty big internal conflicts. The desire to remain loyal to the family (who may be traditional and very conservative) and the impulse to be creatively independent. Hmm, it's really kind of creepy when 'readings' get your character down to dot. I do tend to be very defensive, and as much as I try to be patient, I still have my outbursts that leaves me feeling very guilty afterwards.(grins sheepishly) Also, I do like nice things (hehe) but i've never really splurged mindlessly on anything. (and if I did, I will feel, yes, mightily guilty about it) Anyway, about the 'Fire Horse' part in my original message, I got a reading that went "You are Red Horse, born in the year of Brown Sheep. The first character in DAY represents you. So you are equivalent to Fire." Anyway, thanks a lot for the reading... one more thing... who would be my best match for a mate? (dragons? tigers? or boars? oh my!)

Happy New Year to all! :)

Im a Scorpio Fire Tiger with a Cancer Rising and moon in Aries at zero degrees. I heard that a zero degree aspect means that I carry over pisces moon characteristics as well? Or am I just trying to redeem myself?

... Am I really THAT bad? I hear so many negative astrological things about myself... any Scorpios that believe in astrology feelin' me here?

If it helps, I have Mercury, Venus, and Pluto in Scorpio, Mars is in Aquarius, and Im day of the brown Sheep

Hi, everyone. Sorry ... yes, I had unsubscribed some time ago and then resubscribed, but life, in its myriad wonderful complexities, grabbed me by the tail and shook me around a bit. Let's just say that I have been a busy boy and as the internet and Chinese Astrology are avocations ... well, healing myself, my family and the planet come first. I hope to have more time soon and will come back to this as I can. Those of you who have already pm'd me information should look for readings in the next two weeks. Please do not pm me more information right now ... I will be forced to ignore your requests.

When I can return more regularly, I will start a new Ask Patrick thread. I think it would probably be a grand idea to lock or eliminate this thread, but I don't know if the moderator has been around here much in the last year or so, either.

Blessings to you all in this year of the fire pig (or, as I like to call it - the year of bacon).

I know my secret animal is the metal snake'nd i was born in the day of the metal monkey, but i'm not sure what this all means! How it mixes together! Could you please bring me some light on this subject!

    Sincerely,

I'm a 52 year old Wood Sheep, in terms of compatibility are these questions related. I see I was born in the year element of wood but the sheep’s general element is earth. How do these conflicting elements work in any potential relationships and what’s the stronger element in this case? I have been told that the best relationship for me is water or fire rabbit or pig. That doesn’t leave much room in who’s best available for me except a 44 year old woman. I was told wood isn’t a good match for wood as it’s the same but I have read on a post that that might not be a clash or conflicting and might be good, so is there a problem with similar elements i.e. wood and wood? So I guess there’s about 4 or 5 questions here .Thanks, Bryan
