Tiger lady helping Snake lady

I am a fantastically combustible Tiger (with two Horses and a lone Boar). I met a wonderful Snake lady (with a Snake, Rabbit, and Sheep) via the internet who is having a hard time.

She complains that her family holds her back from all of her dreams and that they keep her practically a prisoner in her own home. I have told her that she is welcome to stay in my care for a while until she can take care of herself again, but we both know full well that all of our signs are ridiculously at odds.

What can we do to try and and minimize conflict? I know that we tigers often can over do it for those that we care for, and that I may have bitten off more than I can chew by taking her in. What can a Tiger do to make a Snake feel more comfortable in a lair ruled by two TIgers? (My mate of many years is a Tiger as well)

All I can say is that she must be pretty desperate to try her hand with us!

I'm pretty close to that combo! lol

I'm an Earth Snake by year, Fire Rabbit by month, Metal Sheep by Day, and Rooster by hour.

The horary ascendant is most important in relationship compatibility. So if she has a Tiger, Horse, or Dog horary ascendant she'll fit in just fine.

Just as well if you and your roommate have the Snake, Ox, or Rooster as an horary Ascendant.

Shes a Rabbit for horary ascendant and I'm a Horse ascendant--I'm not sure how good that is. I've found some places that say that Tigers and Rabbits, though not perfect, are pleasant--and others that say that it couldn't be worse. Same thing when you compare our Horse and Rabbit signs.

*sigh* I've always made easy friends with Snakes. I like how laid back they can be, so I don't feel a natural urge to compete against them. Surprisingly, a lot of my best friends have been Oxen too--I lived with an Ox with a Rat ascendant for 5 years without a problem.

Sure there are some things that will always drive a Snake nuts about a Tiger and vice versa. I've just never had a snake want to enter so deeply into my life--and with her urgency-- so I'm not really sure what to expect.

It is that "tiger cause" emotional reaction if you ask me. I'm not sure she matters that much to you, and you may be in for more than you are bargaining for. The old saying about no good deed goes unpunished rears it's head. Your "friend" needs to get out under her own steam. If her family members are that incompatible they will disappear from her life by themselves. If she wants to leave and you want to offer a crash pad for awhile be aware you will have to likely accept that you will have to TRUST her around your possessions. Not sure that is a good idea.

I know you have your doubts for whatever reason, but she matters plenty to me. This isn't just an overnight friendship. We have mutual interest in one another's artwork (how we met) and we have kept a correspondence for around 5 years. The thing is, I've never met her in person, only communicated via computer and phone--and I'm acutely aware that dynamics between people connecting through technology are starkly different than those that occur face to face.

Her family is quite incompatible, but they have put a lot of effort into hobbling her life, simply because they are not nice people. I don't think they would fall by the wayside--they appear from her descriptions as those who desperately need a scapegoat. (I know they ride her especially hard because she is homosexual, and they have committed acts of violence against some of her pets among other things.)

If I attempt to help her out, I just don't want to cause her any more pain by accident than she has experienced. I would love to care for her, but I have no idea how to deal with this big of a cry for help. Generally it's not the snakes that come running to me for help. My snake buddies will come to me for new view on something or a good time, or just something different, yes--but generally not for support. Usually those friends that seek my support are Boars, Rabbits, or occasionally other Tigers(especially those that are foreign born).

That's all. I'm just a little baffled as to why she has chosen me, especially now all of the sudden, and what I can do for a Snake that is drawn to Tigers. And if possible, hearing if anybody else has had a similar "Snake pouncing on the Tiger" experience. I mean, I never expected such a request from one of my serpentine sisters.

And when it comes to possessions, my husband and I have lived an academic life together for about a decade now. My most treasured gifts I keep with me in my skull--and the valuables rest in a safety deposit box at the bank. Thieves have always been a concern in the area around my home--I try not to create material trust issues between myself and the outside world when there doesn't need to be any. I do appreciate the warning though, especially from one stranger to another. It does my heart good.

She might be desperate looking for a way out. Put together a PLAN for her to reach independence and see her through it. That's what needs to be done. We both know this. She may need drastic help. But be sure to see it through or forget it. Half measures will not work. It may involve her staying for a good while while she puts together a life. Which her family would deny her. Thing is snakes are VERY incompatible with tigers. The snake KNOWS there is nothing that a tiger has to offer the snake that he/she cannot get for themselves, Unless it is desperate. Which it might be. Up to you if you want to save her or let her perish at the hands of an unfeeling cruel family. Again your "tiger cause" thing. Which i never understood myself. I have always found the thigh to do is get tigers OUT of my life, not involve them. Same with Horses. Dogs are just irritating most of the time. There that takes care of THAT trine LOL.

Im a Snake that has been related to more than one Tiger .... i think they are great beings, when they feel like being friends/lovers .... but they also have the capacity to be cruel and hurtful when they feel wronged, for their own reasons ... they are very emotional oriented, and they react with their paws when scared .... and even when the victim is down, they feel pleasure poking them ...

Tigers are beautiful, but cant live in the same cave with the Snake for long, or so it seems .....

At times is not even up to them, is the destiny that bring strong challenges that are very hard to handle ....

    that has been my experience

Yeah. Tigers are in general a 3 out of 10 for the serpent. For my own sanity I am better off with a metal rooster for instance one with true compatibility. Thing is I am aware of a gemini Tiger with a +13 compatibility (cassandra calogera xxx star) using my "quick love" chart posted elsewhere under chinese astrology compatibility. The thing is it dosen't figure in ascendant hour of birth or elemental things I think. Just animal signs.

My sister and my mother are both Snakes whetheras I am a Tiger.

Never had OTHER people in my life stab my back SO MANY TIMES as these two.

I would think twice before letting a Snake in my home.

Maybe you have been stepping on them a bit too much .... Most Snake people only bite in self defence

Snakes are individuals, just like people. Some are more aggressive than others.

Concerning aggressiveness according to species, I’ve never seen a non-poisonous snake do anything other than try to get away unless it was cornered or attacked.

Concerning the poisonous species, I’d rate the cottonmouth moccasin the most aggressive, followed by the rattlesnake, then the copperhead.

The coral snake is not considered to be aggressive at all.

Tigers and snakes have to realize something. They will always be at odds. In general this relationship is a 3 out of 10. Even a PIG which is the mortal enemy of the snake generally does better than a 3 it does a 4.
Tigers live their lives according to their VALUES, which in their minds and hearts are inviolate. The snake is wiser emotionally and realizes that NOTHING in life is ever really fixed and inviolate. So Tiger will go off on their endless crusades for or about this or that, and snake finds the Tiger motivation and actions to be at best extremely annoying and at worst an attack upon something or someone they value. Which will precipitate subterfuge and the inevitable "stab in the back".
I have a Tiger lady at work who is my boss. She views any clarification by anyone else of her "responsibility" and "position" to be a direct confrontation. She has a Pig son who is a convicted felon but because of her long standing and relationships in the company the felon remains in employ, when that pig deserves to be in prison on the tier. That guy got probation for weapons trafficking!
That said everyone treads lightly around her, and exercises skill in dealing with her. Because she is nuts LOL. It is SHE who needs to dry up and go away. Her pig felon son will eventually either go to jail or die from heart failure due to MORBID obesity. The world will get along fine without either her or her rotten son.
In short the next tiger gives me any crap is going to die. I am a snake who has developed killing by sarcastic word an art form. Think we snakes can't do this? TRY us.
The TRUTH is there is NOTHING in the world more dangerous than a snake. If you Tiger person only got stabbed in the back a few times then the realization that your "snakes" were telling you to butt out may JUST be worth listening to.
For myself dear Tiger I have a body count that would stagger most people. But the trash that died really deserved what they got. Or they would have lived.
I am a black water snake a yin water serpent leo born on the day of the fire rat. Original snake in the grass lying in wait for prey. In my case because I have no wood in my horoscope (but lots of earth and fire) I wait amongst the stones and am camouflaged to appear invisible there like a copperhead. Put it all together this makes me the most lethal of any snake even a scorpio snake. Rat and Leo being even more powerful than scorpio.
In short I am tired of snake this snake that. Snakes demand and get respect because they are WORTH it. This is an earth ox year which males the snake doubly more dangerous. Oh did I mention I was born in the hour of the earth ox? Well draw your own conclusions.
Ok a tiger wants to put a snake under her roof. A harassed one. Perhaps the harassment is that she is locked in struggle with her family. Then a move out would be a good idea. Just make sure you are prepared to be really decent to lady snake and get her into her own situation and moved along. Like her own job apartment or house and life. Because a snake and a tiger living together is trouble and passion waiting to explode. Unless there is extraordinary compatibility which would mean those two would rewrite romeo and juliet to a happy ending because LOVE CONQUERS ALL. (Which is something I am considering myself)
I hope I have illustrated and put a fine point on this discussion. Tiger and snake are never a combination to be taken lightly under ANY circumstances.

            > Tigers and snakes have to realize something. They will always be at odds.

I think they get attracted for "Karmic" reasons.... is not the their love is not a true love, is that there is some heavy karmic stuff to deal with .... seems to me that they could do better as friends than close lovers ... also, in my experience, a Tiger can still be a friend after they have experienced their "karmic actions" if they are mature enough to understand what they have gone trough ....

A Snake and a Tiger can be Friends, but they both must polish their acts first ...

It takes a great lover to become the object of your hatred, at a "distant" level, we are all one

            Peace be with ALL
